watch out for Clay Olie.non payer
Sorry to have to go this route but....
I listed my stock front wheel and discs and axle on Ebag with a buy it now of 120...pretty good deal.
He "bought it" and then, because I was so busy at work and really couldn't spend two trips to the post office, I told him I would ship and then send him the total for payment. He said he was good for it and would pay. Many Emails and promises later...still no payment. I know he picked up the wheel as I had tracking on it. Name Clay Olie...non payer...me? $150bux out and no wheel to resell.

I only posted this here because he obviously has a VTR and will be looking for parts or whatever...maybe even a member here...

yeah, but lots of times that works out OK too. It just depends on the person - if you can't get a sense of who they are, don't have some reference or a phone call or something more to go on, at least recognize its a gamble. I'm like redman though, I have shipped many times before getting the money if I think the person is honest.
oh, and I think in this particular case, "clayolie" is actually hawaiian term and loosely translated means 'screw ebay seller'. So I guess in that case getting money ahead of time would have been better

Well I left numerous Ebag messages and messages on his Myspace, and negative feedback. Out of the blue there was a profuse apology and PayPal payment this morning. Don't know if they're related or if he just made it thru his personal problems and paid up but I'm happy to receive it and I started Ebay feedback withdrawal.
