Wanted: good condition low millage engine

so ive slowly been collecting parts for a track only VTR. ive already got CBR1000RR front end, a braced swinger, a penske double clicker, a frame which i will have braced Roger D style, a gas tank, wheels + rotors and calipers, carbs, modded airbox, and a number of other things.

so i want to start getting things put together and im looking for a fully functioning, low millage engine.

im located in Ventura county, southern california. let me know if you have something and we can try and work out a deal. if your farther away we can look into shipping it.

thanks

Not sure what your budget is, but there are always a few "low milage" engines in EBay.

How 'bout this? Looks a little rough but maybe you can get a good deal...part the rest out and have the engine for free

98 honda superhawk 996 sell or trade

Here's another ad...guess he has 2 of them. Doesn't sound too bright judging by the ad but you never know...

The problem with eBay engines is they all say they can't garuntee it runs and there is no warranty or anything.

Any sale of a second-hand engine won't give a warranty. As suggested source a cheap running bike and part /break the rest for spares to offset the initial cost.
