With the condition of this bike and the mods it's a steal.
For serious riders this is what you're looking for. A bike that's never been tracked, down or dropped and has all the right mods.
Every mod that should be done has been done. Thousands in mods.
This bike is custom look from paint to wheels.
I love this bike - it dives into turns. 1998 model, about 24K miles. Brand new Pilot Power 2 tires and SuperSprox sprockets and X-ring chain. NEEDS NOTHING. No expense spared on this bike. I will ship with the buyer arranging everything. I've had good experiences with www.haulbikes.com

Mods:

Superbrace fork brace
LED signals all around
Custom pearl white paint
Gold painted CBR wheels/brakes
Steel braided front line
Harris rearsets
HID high/low headlight (have original as well)
Brand new Pilot Power 2 rear (not even broken in - about 50 miles on it)
Pilot Power 2 front has about 60%
Custom yellow gages
Vortex gold aluminum quick release gas cap (have original)
Carbon fiber yoke protector
R1 regulator/rectifier mod, soldered
Blinker module replaced with electronic one to regulate turn signals
1 tooth down in the front, 2 up in rear (brand new sprockets/chain)
Zero Gravity smoke touring windshield (have original)
Brand new Leo Vince SBK EVO II high mount exhaust
Fox twin clicker shock
Racetech front springs
Undertail
Carbon fiber rear hugger
Clear Alternatives white LED rear brake light
Supergrips
VFR clipons
Frame sliders
All Honda decals removed
AGV adjustable short clutch lever
Brand new battery
Tech spec tank pads
520 X-ring chain conversion with 43 Supersprox rear sprocket and 15 tooth front (brand new)
Custom LED battery and charging system meter mounted on handlebar

Tags recently paid - good through Sept 2010

I will include touch up pens from ColorRite (base, pearl color and clear coat). Since it was the previous owner that painted the bike there are no paint codes but pearl color I found at ColorRite is nearly perfect.

I will try and answer questions as best as I can. The previous owner did about half the mods and I did the rest. The Honda shop manual has notes in it about what the previous owner did which is helpful (as is the manual) and I have receipts for what I've bought or done. The wheels and brakes are from a CBR954 (calipers/cylinders) so IT STOPS! As far as I know it still has the original CCTs - I took it to the dealer for a safety check and had them listen for the tell-tale rattle and they said it sounded fine so I left well enough alone. When it came time for a change I was going to go with manual APEs which is what I recommend to the new owner.
Always garaged.

Search eBay for many larger pictures.
PRICE = $3900

Yes I know, I agree I agree...but it is in the top tier of bikes. Should I rename it the Almost Ultimate Superhawk? I would argue for the price it can be had for it is the Ultimate...

It is a sweet bike. It's a shame comes time to sell, they're really not going for much over trade in value. Almost worth it to hold on to as many stock parts as you can and just sell 'em stock and make more than the difference selling the bits separate.
