superhawk 1000 cc parts bike
the man i purchased this wrecked motor cycle from said his son wrecked it and I have a bill of sale.

You were trying to determine the year of the bike.. The clutch side of the engine is black (early S-hawk 1997-2000) But the stator side is of latter years of S-hawk engine color (2001-2005). That would give the indication that the engine has been opened/ and the bike was wrecked prior to the condition of parts.
If the man charged you $800.00 for the parts/ engine you are selling- with out mileage, year etc. I wish you luck on your sale..
I bought a well taken care of -1998 S-Hawk engine (ONLY)with 10,XXX miles for $100.00. I think your a bit high... IMHO.

sure you won't ship? I need a head but I would consider the motor if the price was right. but I'm in canada too..

You may be able to make the $800 if you sell parts individually, but not as a lot sale.
