When i made this arm, i used a stock swingarm, When i cut it to add the length to it, i use plate aluminum and slide it into each rung, the drill through the sides of the arm and put rod through it, then spot welded each hole closed and, welded the new length peices all the way around, cleaned all the welds, glass beaded the entire arm, and clear coated it.. Rode it an entire season and really enjoyed it.
