Random parts
UPDATED carbs, and RC51 triple gone
I've sold my superhawk. We had a good run. Bought in the fall of 2001. 80k later this is what I have left that is of any use.
Make me an offer, and for most of this stuff if you cover the shipping, and packaging it's yours.
I prefer UPS, so when you contact me include a zip code, and I'll get a shipping quote.
New steering stem nut
Stock right footpeg
left clipon
Wheel spacer
left inner fairing
fender
side fairing stay bracket
brakes
I also have 2 carb carcasses that can be scavenged for parts if wanted.
I also have a stock 929 shock, and a RC51 top triple clamp that needs to be sanded and painted

Shoot, I'm sorry Bill. If I'm keeping you from getting a bike running let me know & you can have them. I've just been wanting to pick up a set to practice on & become more familiar with. I was never much for tuning & carbs but I've been batting 1000 with getting the carbs cleaned on my last few projects. I had a set of superhawk carbs apart once a few months ago because I had to clean them, but I wanted to become more familiar for when I get my '98 back on the road and install a jet kit. I wanted to just let someone else do it and put it on a dyno but I just don't trust anyone around here to work on my stuff anymore. Again let me know...

Don't worry about it. I was just looking for an extra set like everyone should have. Same reason that you are.
As for tuning the hawk, what are you up to? If it is just pipes and air filter, do it yourself. I have had little luck with letting someone else in there. I ended up doing it myself when they couldn't figure out why it only made 60 horsepower at 6500rpm. HMMMMMMMMMMM????

Lol yeah stock motor with a k&n, jet hot tbr header (bling on a stock motor) and currently high carbon leo's, but with the sp2 swingarm I may do something different with the slip ons as they just touch and are just too nice to go cutting up. Had a mildly modded ZX12 to get it out of my system so this is fast enough for me these days. If one of you guys that knows the bikes was near me I'd say go for it, but even shops with dynos and all that stuff I just don't trust to do the work properly or treat the bike right-I've had enough experience with them already with other stuff. The difference seems to be I'm honest enough to admit when I'm not experienced enough doing something-they won't, they'll just frig it up even more. I figure I can do a little trial and error and get it right on my own and learn in the process. It seems to work for most other things in the garage and in life in general
