I don't know the exact year but I expect they are from the early 2000
models 00 to 04 ish. I don't know when the last big model change was.
I actually have a BMW RS that I put them on but I decided to go back to
stock for now. FZ1 mirrors have an even longer stalk so I might go that
route if I go back to faring mounted mirrors.
The big twin has a lot of vibration in the bars.
They are in good shape except for the scuff on the one. Let me know what
you think.

Are R1 mirrors a direct bolt-on? Does anybody here have them on the their Super Hawk?

 

I'm not sure, but it seems like a lot of guys bolt those on. Maybe post to the main group to see. I didn't think this was worthy of a new thread, but there may not be many people checking this one out. I think the R1's may stick out farther so you can see beyond your elbows, and I'm guessing they are a direct fit or wouldn't be so popular on the SH. Just figured someone would pounce on them.
