Need a petcock

Tried to ride to work the other morning and the bike wouldn't start. Checked it out today. found the rear plug wet and front plug dry so I started checking the petcock valve. When I would apply vacuum it would only flow through one side. This petcock has been a pain! I don't understand how it can only flow through one side but it is so I need a replacement.

There is a part # floating around on the forums of an OEM rebuild for this. Picked it up at the local dealer for around 50$. It was a part # for another bike but it worked perfectly for me. Search the forums and you will find it. DO NOT BUY A REBUILD KIT OFF OF EBAY.

It appears that you just need this: part #16953-ml0-034

Honda, ATV Parts, Scooter Parts, Motorcycle Parts,CRF,CR,MX Parts, Goldwing parts

https://www.superhawkforum.com/forum...ix-pics-19843/

Can't quite tell if it comes with all of the diaphragms and stuff that you need.

The part # you put up is correct. I used that and it worked like a charm.

Cool, thanks for that confirmation. Just ordered it. I'd rebuilt it with the cheap e-bay ones, which don't seem to be getting good reviews

i made that same mistake with the ebay one. once it showed up i refused the package and got my $$ back. I was lucky enough that the local shop had one on hand! a little bit more expensive but nothing beats instant gratification!
