Me and some of my friends have been using these for a few years now with no problems, so they have been well tested. They are cnc machined from 6061-T6 aluminum and are anodized black. I made the body thicker than the ape version so there is more threads and increased rigidity. The body is chamfered and a viton o-ring is installed as an oil seal. A nylon locknut is used on the adjusting bolt and also helps control oil seepage and prevents them from coming loose. I still recommend using thread sealant on the rear cct. The adjuster nut is pinned on for those who want to safety wire them. Fot those of you that bought my pair blockoff plates, you know i make a quality part.
