I would like to take this helmet off your hands but my current one is only a large so I'm affraid this one would be too big.

Helmets from each company fit differently. My motorcross helmet is a l/xl mix. My shark is an xl and my hjc is a xxl

I just did a quick comparison on how different helmets fit and this KBC XXL fits size wise like a Shoei Large,Arai-Large Icon L-XL, Suomy XXL, Scorpion XL. So my opinion would be it runs small compared to others the same as a Suomy. And I usually judge by a Shoei or Arai, causer there large and nice and snug and would keep the grey matter tightly in place in case of a go down on a day where you plan on acting up a little, XL are nice and comfortable to ride with which is snug but not too snug if you know what I mean. So I am really between a large-XL true fitment in a Shoei or Arai if that helps you out any.
