SOLD SOLD SOLD Yes Yoshimura RS-3 FULL exhaust for sale. Did my best to list everything I know about it so please take the time to read my description. If anyone cares I took it off a Superhawk I bought locally to part out that supposedly had a "blown engine." He DID own a motorcycle shop, so I figured I could take his word for it. Turned out to only be a fried R/R & plug on the harness, but by the time I realized/verified the engine was actually fine I had already sold off at least half the bike.
Anyway, what you see is what you get. Stainless header & link pipes. Very light carbon fiber mufflers (as is the whole system). Front downpipe (perfect, no rash or dents) was lightly sanded clean with 200 grit, the rest I'm leaving to the new owner. Headers WILL polish up like mirrors with a little elbow grease. I've done enough of them in the past, just not worth my time for what I'm going to sell these for/what people are willing to pay. Solid shape overall. Both linkpipes into the mufflers do have some minor shallow denting as pictured. Just cosmetic, nothing that will affect the flow and it IS fixable if you want cosmetic perfection & have the know how. There are also a few places online (piperepair.com, etc) that do exhaust repair of this sort but again I'll leave that up to the new owner. Mufflers are in good used shape. They were repacked with about 1 1/3 rolls each of new Moose fiberglass muffler packing along with 4 brand new Yosh straps and haven't been run since. Original emblems were also replaced with the ones you currently see. Originals were damaged (looked like some idiot tried to take them off and broke both of them). The original writing was white instead of silver and said "stainless" after "RS3," otherwise they pretty much look the same. The emblems are no longer made, are nearly impossible to find new (ask a TL1000 guy) and are very expensive when they do pop up. Also had both lower brackets on the header professionally tig welded as both had hairline cracks in the welds. Springs aren't the originals but get the job done-everything is tight. Only had one on the front downpipe in the initial pics. Please see the last pic, I added a second. Header utilizes the stock rear cylinder downpipe, which is included as shown. Once again I didn't have a clamp on it in the initial pictures but have added once and it's shown in the last pic.
If we could please keep this a "for sale" thread that would be great. You'll pay insured shipping with tracking from South Florida. Paypal "family & friends" please (or please add the 3% paypal fee if you're not comfortable with that). I've been on here for 15 years so if you're newer on here feel free to look up my user name/feedback over the years. I've parted out several complete bikes and sold a ton of parts and exhausts on here. It's a hobby, I'm not a business. Also been on Ebay for 20 years with 100% perfect feedback. Serious inquiries only and no stories please. You pay, I ship. Easy. These are still in solid shape as shown in the pictures and will easily polish up really nice. Bear in mind they are about as old as your bike though and are sold AS-IS. $600 plus shipping. Hit me up with any other questions. Thanks for looking and ride safe. SOLD SOLD SOLD

Reason: SOLD
Here's a spare spring for the front header pipe and clamp for the rear downpipe I hadn't shown in the original pictures. Again they're not the originals but they work fine.
Nice system Beau; not sure where you keep digging up all these jewels GLWS. If I had some spare cash (just bought a snowmobile and am busy going OCMD on it, lol), I would buy it just to see how it compares to my full Akra
Thank you. Yeah I actually went to see this bike for sale a year or so prior, mostly because of the exhaust alone lol. Ended up not buying it at that time and then it popped up again about a year later and I had to bring it home. It was cheap and the dealer didn't know jack about it. Fast forward, I still have two motorcycles I need to finish up and sell and on to a few car projects to help my dad out (he's going to be 89) so I just don't have time for all this stuff anymore. Don't be shy, if I get anything resembling a reasonable offer, particularly if it's from a longer time member on here it's probably going.

Yeah, and it's a good thing I'm there to control him. He hasn't even put a mile on the sled and he already wants to re-engineer the damn thing.
GLWS cause this is a nice bit. I still have the Leo's I bought from you a few years ago, and guess what, they're still sitting in the same box you shipped them in...I'm so ashamed.

Don't feel bad I have several things that I bought awhile ago that are still sitting. Get around to it one of these days lol...
I still have my original Two Brothers Small oval Aluminum can full system from 1999.
When I first bought my 98 new I immediately did a baffle ectomy and still have those up in the attic In perfect shape
So My two Bros have been repacked, oh just a couple of times, Wearing my full Leathers combat touring boots and RF 200 helmet Around A crane they thought had blocked the road Circa 1999 Piggybacked my A spare tank Up to a Buddies To enlarge it by about a gallon and a quarter Wearing my full Leathers again in combat touring boots but with the first HJC symax flip front helmet imported into the United States
given they have over a hundred and ten thousand miles on them LOL

Dear Mr. Flash: well, at least I INSTALL what I buy there Mr Poopy Pants, lol
tangent over... lol
I have read good things about this system and would love to see the dyno numbers...
I can't believe it ....I was buying a 3 tone steel jack from Beau....and when I opened the box up, it had a Yoshimura Exhaust system in the box. I"m glad I have the VTR 1000 that it will hang on to it's engine and frame. When will I get my 3 ton Jack..???
Wow looks beautiful! You did a really nice job, I love to see stuff go to a good home. Haha yeah I saved that box because it's probably the toughest cardboard box I've ever seen and I knew it would come it handy. Thank you again, enjoy and ride safe. Post up some pics once it's installed.
