FS: RC51 brakes
-SOLD-
From a 2001 RC 51. They will work on a stock SuperHawk with a little grinding to the calipers or the forks. Should be a substantial upgrade over stock.I bought these on ebay about a year ago. I waited a long-*** time for them to arrive so I filed a paypal dispute and then found another set-up off a 600RR. Then the RC brakes finally showed up a few days after I got the ones from the RR. They were in pretty sad shape as well: busted reservoir, completely filthy, pads totally shot. They just sat in my basement until today.
I took them to school this morning where I totally disassembled and cleaned up the calipers. No more sludge sitting around in there. I thought about replacing all the seals but everything seemed fine the way it was. I also put my old reservoir on the MC. Now I wont be embarrassed in selling them to someone else.
RC51 MC, calipers, and hose
no pads (see below)
ugly carbon look lever (maybe it can be peeled off)
small rash on left caliper
$75 shipped to cont. US
First pic was taken prior to reassembly. The rest are of their current condition.

I also have the mounting bolts and brackets for the RC's upside down forks. I was planning on keeping these unless they are needed by the buyer.
I have nice and clean stock SuperHawk calipers as well.

I now have a set of pads to throw in. From the 600rr. Pretty sure they are the original equipment (they say Nissin on them). About 50% pad life. I just took them off my bike and replaced them with EBC HH pads.
