FS ... Full Akrapovic System SOLD!! thx SHF

I have a Full system that I'm taking off my bike.. It's a polished Titanium full Akrapovic system. This system sounds great and is super light. One of the cans has some very slight rash on it and the header has a small dent on the bottom of the pipe on the front cylinder (cannot see it unless you lay on the ground). I have some pics for tonight and will post pics of the system when I take it off this weekend.
$500 OBO for the whole set up.

Re: FS ... Full Akrapovic System

is ther a pic of the rash on the can, I don't really see it from the pics posted (i didn't open them up becasue I didn't see it on the thumbs). For sur ethe rash and dent is clear on the header.

Why are you selling? Just don't want to see the rash anymore? I've never heard of the brand, they weren't listed in the post that describes how loud the different slip ons were. What is you opinion on how loud they are?

Re: FS ... Full Akrapovic System

I took it off because I went with a Wolf undertail.
I will post a pic of the cans on Monday. You can't see the rash on the pics because I swapped the cans around and put the rash on the inside.

The system is not super loud, but it does thump. It's alot more bassy than any other set I have heard. I think it's since the pipes are way bigger than stock headers. It also has a double crossover that helps scavenging.

Here is a pic of what I installed in place of the Ak.

Had to register just to ask about this bold statement. (not trying to hijack the thread) Need facts or are they the best because they are so expensive?

Re: FS ... Full Akrapovic System

Ok.. here are the pics of the Damage on the cans .. It is not really noticable if you set the cans up so it's on the inside.

Also.. I think I'm asking too much for them anyway.. So , the price is now $500 for the whole setup.

And inderocker is right about the quality of these pipes. They are built really well and made out of the best materials possible. The fit is excellent and Leak free. The spring tensioners help keep everything nice and tight.

I would be all over these if you weren't so far away. I'm just a little too leary of sending that kind of money that far....good luck, that is my idea of the perfect exhaust for the SuperHawks....

I'm not going to rip anyone off if that's what you are afraid of. I'm being as honest as anyone can be about the condition of these pipes.
If you want my address and phone number I have no problem giving it out so you feel safer about making a trasnaction.
I understand being leary of internet sales since I have been burned in the past. It just makes you more careful who you deal with.

If I had the $ I'd buy it from you in a heart beat! Front end conversions add up though.

Oh come on now I still ride the SH, I took it out last night and listened to the clicky cam chains. The RC is a whole different beast! The way it corners in the canyons...yeah I love it. It sure isnt as comfy as the SH though.

Re: FS ... Full Akrapovic System

Hey, If utah passes on them for what ever reason, please give me a shout. I am still interested....

Maybe a silly question but will the hraders start to rust where the dent and scatches are? There is not rust on az components right now is there?

I doubt they will rust. Titanium does not corrode like steel does. If you keep the pipes clean and hit them with some polish once in a while they should look good forever.

Man! I just read my last post..... I wrote like an idiot! I was in a hurry and typing on a German keyboard. I'm sorry about that. Must have been fun to try to understand.

So, let me know if he falls through, like I said, I'm still interested.
