FS: 98 superhawk with no motor CHEAP!! in Maryland
ok. here's the deal. I work at a bike shop and had a customer who blew his motor in his 1998 superhawk. He didnt want to have his motor rebuilt, because it already had 70k on it. So, he wanted us to find him a used motor.
We bought a salvage (lightly damaged) 1998 superhawk at an auction to pull the motor out of and swap into his. We bought the bike whole ....
So, we are going to be taking out JUST the bare motor to sell to the customer, and have basically a complete bike left over. So, im selling a whole superhawk, minus the bare motor. Has damage to headlight, and front fairing, but everything else is good and available. 26k miles. Have title but its VA salvage. Good frame, wheels, swingarm, subframe, brakes, perfect red gas tank, ignition & locks, handle bars, gauges, etc etc ...
Id rather not part it out and have to ship everything, so Im offering the entire bike for CHEAP. $850 takes everything. Theres WAY more then that in parts easily here.
Bike is located in Frederick, MD and I can transport the bike anywhere in the country for cheap!

other parts that are INCLUDED in this deal:
complete carb, complete wire harness, airbox, pipes, radiators, fairings, fender, all electronics, seat & cowl, tail light and fender eliminator, gauges (26k), tinted windscreen, set of mirrors.
basically ...... look, at the pictures and pretend the BARE motor is missing. You get everything else. Title is a standard rebuildable salvage, so it can be inspected/titles/tagged.

Damn, if I didn't have my money tied up with some dirtbikes I bought last week I would jump on this deal, I'm in Baltimore CO, about 45min from frederick. How about a trade for a 1989 RM125 that runs great? hahahaha

not sure about the post count. just trying to help out some fellow riders with a sweet deal. i have a motorcycle shop, so I know how hard it is sometimes to find used parts. this would be a great deal.
im sure the tank alone is about $400 easy. there's $1500+ in parts no question. im just trying to unload it quick, and for that, im giving it away at a crazy cheap price.
to ship to NC would be $200-$250 depending on where you are in NC. If you are right off 95 (or can meet there) then I may be able to get it there for $150-$175. let me know

better hurry too. im getting PMs left & right about buying the tank, brakes, rear sets, etc etc .... like I said, there's more then $1500 in parts alone easily. title in hand, ready to go

I dont have the space really to have all these miscellaneous parts aying around, and I dont really want to ship out a ton of stuff. I dont mind shipping a small part here & there ... but I dont want to ship fairings, frame, etc

Repsol...i am strongly considering coming this weekend to look at it...and I will have a truck just in case....Will the customers old motor come with it? Just wondering. When could I look at it this week? I have off thursday, friday morning, and saturday
