FS: '98 Superhawk $3500 OBO
FS: '98 Superhawk $3500 OBO
Here I go.....I'm selling my '98 Superhawk. I bought it brand new in '02. At around 1200 miles the forward cylinder cam seize up. It was a manufacturers defect with the milling of the head. It was repaired under Honda warranty at Wenatchee Honda. Apparently there were a few of the 98's that had the same issue. They went through the entire engine and replaced anything that had to do with the oil pump or the lubrication system. It has 13,271 miles on it and is still running strong. It was only down once and it wasn't moving at the time. My ex-wife's grandmother backed into it trying to around in the driveway. I'd love to keep it but I just don't need 2 bikes. I recently bought an '02 ZX-12r. I'm asking $3500 OBO. Here's the rundown of what I've done to it.
MIG high mount exhaust
flush mount turn signals
integrated LED tail light
Zero-Gravity tinted windscreen
Sargent seat
Stage-1 DynoJet jet kit
It has the original chain and sprockets. The tires have about 2k on them. Here are the pics I took today.

The seat I got for Xmas in '06

Various scratches and nicks caused from stupid stuff.....

Broken right side mirror...

Close up of exhaust and flush mount blinkers......

Rear tire

Front tire

THIS IS A VERY LOUD BIKE SO BE FOREWARNED!!!!!!!!

I noticed your Migs have a different mount than mine. Mine are closer to the rear seat cowl. I can still retain the stock footpeg brackets and bolt the exhaust hangers to the stock mounting hole. Photo shows solo set up, but I do put the footpeg brackets back on when taking the Lady out for a run. That is until she get her own bike...I hope.
He ain't lying about the sound. Damn those Migs sound good!
