FS: 1998 Honda Superhawk VTR1000
Get ready for this year's riding season! This bike is turn key and ready to go! I am selling my Superhawk that I have had since 2006. I bought her with 4k miles and now have 20k. She has been meticulously cared for with oil changes every 3k and fresh spak plugs every season. Tires were put on last season and have no more than 1k miles on them. Bike has the following:
Puig Clear Double Bubble Windscreen
EBC Rear brake pads
Michelin Pilot 2CT (best tires I have ridden on IMO! So much grip!)
Galfer Stainless Steel Lines (brakes and clutch)
Smooth front turn signals
Shortened rear stock turns
Akrapovic Full Header and midpipe (No longer sold and makes a HUGE top end gain!)
Art Carbon Fiber mufflers (Bike sounds very tough with this setup and Akras)

5 qts. of Rotella Synthetic oil and Fram filter
NGK Iridium spark plugs (4)

This bike has had zero mechanical issues. I just changed the oil, plugs, and grease the chain on a regular basis. I am an Engineer who is very meticulous with his machinery and pays very close attention to mechanical detail. I have taken this bike from NY to Myrtle Beach SC with no hiccups! This bike is built to be ridden and have fun! If the bike is bought for the asking price I will throw in a set of GIVI SADDLEBAGS FOR FREE! ($180 dollar value) That's right, FREE! Good luck w/ sale NY. Your Hawk looks like it is well worth your asking price with the extras a real useful bonus. Sorry to see you parting ways with it. Hopefully someday you can return to 2 wheels.
