F/S: VFR tank/seat, VTR fairings
F/S: VFR tank/seat, VTR fairings
I'm offering this as a kit or separately. Shipping TBD.
This is my patent pending :-) large capacity 5.3 gallon VFR tank/seat combo. The seat needs a latch as I used one from a corbin that went back to that seat to sell. I may have another one by the time of sale but that's not for sure. The tank is painted a super glossy black (PPG base/clear) and has a modified VTR petcock plate so it operates the same way. It also has a stock but modified fuel sender too. This is not a factory perfect setup but it's a hell of lot cheaper than any other alternative I can find. The seat has a sargent "atomic foam" insert for more comfort since you can ride further/longer. The rear seat and seat cowl were modified (shortened) to better match the superhawk rear cowl. $250 plus shipping in two boxes, one a real tank box. SOLD!
The fairings are also painted the same and are really nice. These uppers have been trimmed for clearance for high bars. The right fairing was previously damaged at the mirror mount and was braced from behind. It has a tiny crack there due to fitment issues from a then unknown bent upper fairing bracket (grrrr). The left is fine. $225 plus shipping.
The tank has a decals above the clear so you can change colors and the fairings don't have any although they do in the pics.
I also have a matching rear cowl (see my next post below).
Here's what the tank/seat/fairings look like when mounted:

And a couple more.
On the rear cowl, you can see the mounting holes that I used for the zipties. Believe it or not, I actually preferred this over the original mounting bolts; much quicker on removal but I know this is NOT a selling point. :-) Paint is only 6 months old and had never seen a car wash. It's not perfect but pretty damn nice if I may say so. :-)

Well after consulting with my advisor I will have to pass. If it is still around in a few weeks I would be able to but need to sell the SuperCharger off my turck first. Too many projects not enough income.
Good luck with the sell.
Now Serving Number 2!
