corbin seat
corbin seat
i purchased a corbin seat off ebay, then decided i'd rather have something else. it looks to be basically brand new. i can't find any knicks or scars on the top, and if it weren't for a couple of minor scratches on the underneath side, i don't think you'd even know it was used. it has the hole in the back of the passenger seat (maybe they all do?) for the backrest, but i didn't get the backrest. it's solid black carbon fiber pattern, no colored piping or anything. i paid $275 for it...i just want my money back out of it. shipping UPS seems to be about $15, so let's go with a final price of $290. lemme know if i'm missing something major, or if you have any questions!
Everyone says these seats arent comfy.. ?my wife really wants that corbin backrest thing.. She slides off the seat..Not to change the thread, but, Anyone know of a different aftermarket passenger backrest or anti slip idea??
>lynchie,
I bought one of these based on a recommendation from Tweety. The Triboseat cover made a big difference in that people stay put on the rear seat under braking. I'd say it's well worth the money and would recommend it.

mine seems to be pretty comfortable. there's a company called triboseat that makes grippy things you can put on your seat. i have one, but i havent tried it out yet. it seems like it will work pretty well though.
deal #2 fell through also! it's back on the market. don't make me use ebay....somebody take this seat off my hands!
sorry...don't want to trade anything. unless someone has a colorado season pass they aren't using!

one attempt at a sale ended because of a disagreement over paypal....i think that if the buyer pays by credit card, the buyer should have to pay the 5% that paypal charges the seller to get the money out. the other fell through because the buyer received a seat as a gift before the sale could be completed. i'm hoping this happens all the time and it's not just me! so far, no real offers yet.
