So after not getting a response since last week and considering I paid good money for this stuff with the specific condition that the parts were straight (thought that shouldn't even require mentioning)...

I like chocolate shakes but I've never seen one come out of a set of forks before. And the "it's just brake fluid from disassembly" turned into several days worth of scrubbing and schmutz removal from forks that have obviously been leaking for probably several years. Oh and thanks to whoever pounded & flattened the **** out of the top caps with a hammer (thankfully I have spare parts)... But I overlooked all that anyway and didn't say anything but...

-top triple is bent. I asked if this stuff was straight. All one has to do is hold it up and eyeball it.
-clutch cover has a big hole it in after the JB weld crumbled out... Maybe I'll JB weld it and pass it off on someone else (not)...

-since the top triple is bent the verdict I guess is still out on the forks, wheel and rotors.


Boggles my mind the descriptions/books I write of stuff and detailed pictures I take when I sell stuff and yet still from time to time have buyers bitch about the condition of things (usually Ebay, not here) when people sell stuff like this... Guess I get enough good deals on stuff that I'm gonna have to eat stuff like this from time to time, especially from the people who pop on here just to sell their stuff and then disappear.
