1998 Superhawk, Clean Title, 2500 obo
1998 Superhawk, Clean Title, 2500 obo
Selling my 98 superhawk. bought it from a friend earlier this year and it was in non-running shape. He rode it till the regulator/rectifier went bad and couldnt figure out what the problem was so it sat for 2 years. I replaced it with a GSXR one. Cleaned the carbs. Changed the clutch and brake fluid, oil, coolant, thing was running great. It looks rough since he put it away and planned on trying to fix it and stunt it so he smashed the tank in with a mallet on purpose. Rock hit the headlight. Looks rough, basically could use everything but the front fender, but works just fine. needs a choke cable and that's it, snapped it removing the carbs for a cleaning and then just plugged the hole so there was no vacuum leak and havent needed the choke since i've owned the bike. Has about 43k miles on it and running strong. Has a full yoshimura dual carbon exhaust as well. I have 4 bikes so I need to sell this one to put a motor in my hayabusa that i wrecked earlier this summer. I'll post more pictures later when I get home from work.

I am going to call them in the morning and see what i have to do to sell the bike and if i can expedite the title.. it is a clean titled bike... i have it registered currently but the reg paper doesnt tell me what to do if i sell it other than to return these documents to the dmv. keep you guys posted in the AM.
and here you can see the temp. reg that shoes there is no lien or anything like that on the bike and that its registered... i dunno... just till i can get something tomorrow.

called the DMV and they said the title has about 10 days to be released still. Hopefully I should have it in 2 weeks, and if anyone wanted to call and verify the status they could do so as long as you have the vin/marker plate number. So yea, slowhawk already said he wanted it so i am going to see what he wants to do first and go from there. just keeping everyone updated.
