1998 Superhawk (pics added)
I am selling my 98 superhawk. I had an opportunity to buy my first love and it was too good to pass, so the hawk needs to find a new home.
Here are some goods:
98 SH
25,xxx miles
Polished frame, swingarm, and wheel lips
Painted flat black
Jardine High Mount exhaust
Carbs have been jetted, shimmed, and synced
PAIRectomy
new battery
all maintenance in the Shop manual has been accomplished
Buyer will receive the shop manual
The bads:
Tires are 50-60%
could use front pads before long(starting to get worn but no noise)
the bike has been over at some point in its history (not since I have owned it) It was light whatever happened. Everything was checked by local honda shop and I fixed the bodywork. There are some scuffs on the pipes and passenger peg brackets. they are all cosmetic.
still has stock CCT's (not making any noise)
I have the hardware to do the TPS adjust and could help the buyer adjust it if they would like.
This bike has been wonderful, no mechanical problems at all! It would make a great starter bike for someone who wants to mod a Superhawk or would also make a great daily rider. I would keep it, but would like to pay off the new bike.
