1998 Super Hawk for sale/trade 11,600 miles - 3000 negotiable.
Hello Fellow Hawk Riders:
I have recently decided to put up my Hawk for sale or trade to return to an Inline-4 super sport or naked bike. I live in North Huntingdon, PA (about 30 minutes from Pittsburgh, PA). Here is the information:
The bike is in very good cosmetic condition with low miles, just rolled 11,600. There are two scratches on the rear tail plastic, left side where the last owner tipped it over in his garage (or so he told me). No cracks, dings, or scratches in the plastic at all other than that. At this point, the bike needs nothing other than an inspection.
Both tires have been replaced (Rear has about 800 miles, front about 200) as well as all the brake pads and all fluids (clutch, brake, oil, coolant about 1000k ago). The chain and sprockets are still in good working order (about half worn on the chain), as are fork seals. I am the 3rd owner. The bike does not leak/burn any fluids, nor has it during my ownership. Modifications include dual Vance and Hines pipes, after market tinted windscreen, new Oury grips.
The second owner (an older gentlemen) kept it in his garage from the time of purchase in early 2000. He rode it for a couple years, then put the cover over it and stored it until he sold it to me 4 years later. As it sat, I decided to change all fluids and rubber when I purchased it, no issues. I keep it in my garage at my house at all times. It does have an R-title however, and it is "in hand." The second owner unfortunately did not keep records of maintenance.
The bike still has the original CCT and R/R.
$3000 negotiable or trade for inline 4 bike.
If you have any questions, let me know. dober3@hotmail.com Thanks and have a great day!

Just rolled 11,600. No, it's not a mod, I just listed it there as it flowed gramatically with the post.

Post up on the FZ1OA There are lots of Gen 1 FZ1's avail for what Our Super Hawks are going for. Maybe you could find a swap.

Just am ineffective attempt at humor, nothing personal

Thanks! It really is a nice bike and has treated me very well. I'm not really in a hurry to get rid of it. Just want something different is all. Either way, can't lose, still got a great bike to ride, and that's all that matters!
