Best Resource for Fairings?

Here goes my first post here...
My beloved Superhawk was loaded by a friend in his pickup for a camping trip over the 4th of July weekend, and a strap somehow slipped. It busted the left side fairing, and tipped over, leaving some scuffs and chips in the right side fairing, as well. Anybody have any good recommendations for fairing kits at a decent price? My hawk is currently all black, and I think I'd like to keep it that way, but I've noticed that all black seems to be spendier than some of the kits with designs (been eyeballing the black and red and orange repsol kit). Any suggestions? Dyin to get back on the road!

Welcome to the Superhawk forum!
Sorry to hear about your fairings.
Post some photos of the damage. If it was mine, I would save all the peices and learn how to repair it. But I am cheap that way.
It may be easier (and quicker) than you think to repair.

I have a left fairing for you... almost completely undamaged but you gotta sand through a million and a half layers of paint to get to the plastic.

I'll give you a good price for it

Could you have it wrapped in a Repsol look? Vinyl wrap seems to be the rage these days...

A friend of mine taught me to repair ABS with fiberglass and marine bondo. zif you don't mind lots of sanding, it's worth the effort and cheap, as attested to in the above post by Hangfly.

Not trying to rain on your parade but you fix fiberglass (Sharkskinz fairings, your old Corvette, etc) with fiberglass and resin. You fix ABS plastic (the stock fairings on your sportbike) by either plastic welding it or by using the correct epoxy specifically designed for it, which basically does the same thing by melting the plastic together. At least that's the proper way to do it anyway. There are lots of other ways...

I'm not sure I see this right or not. Perhaps someone with more experience than me with this seller can shed a light. Is the upper fairing pricing right ?
