Won't crank when hot
 

This would be the first problem I've had with my Superhawk. After about 40 miles of normal running on the Interstate yesterday I pulled off at a rest area and shut the bike down for about 5 minutes. When I tried to start it again all I got was a clicking sound, as if the battery was low or a connection was bad. I was able to bump start it by coasting down the exit ramp, turned around and rode it back home. When I shut it off at home it restarted normally and when I put the battery tender on it it came up to full charge in a couple of hours, indicating the battery was recieving juice from the alternator while running.

So WTF do you guys think it is??

mine is doing the same thing, I bought an R1, RR to see if that is it. The battery is not getting the juice to charge it. There are many possibilities, I am going to eliminate one of them.

Probably a bad battery. I had one do the same thing. Full voltage, but when it came to puttin' out the juice it just wasn't there. Good news is that its easy to find and easy to replace.
