what the hell?
 

what does this fitting on the top of the thermostat housing go to i totally spaced it or does it go to the pair valve because i deleted it. after puting the carbs back i noticed how funky the system is its the weirdest setup i have ever seen with the coolant system to the carbs i dont really under stand any of it but its how it is . i was kind hoping that someone could answer my questions about how many case breathers the thing has i only noticed the two on top of the valve covers.

If I'm not wrong that nipple does nothing. I can check tomorrow. Yes 2 breathers that need capping but you can buy block off plates. You also can open them and reverse the reed valve inside them.

Can confirm that the nipple does nothing on my bike.

I thought that was where the power band was connected.
