VTR exhaust question

I'm on the point of buying a 2000 VTR 1000F.
The thing is the bike has only one exhaust (a Leo Vince SBK on the right side).
From what I've seen so far, all VTRs have dual exhausts (either stock or after market).
Very rarely have I seen on the internet a honda VTR with only one exhaust.

And this Leo Vince looks exactly like one of those dual exhaust types (oval shaped).

I'll be buying this bike from some sort of a second hand bike dealer and he states that this is how he got it from the seller (in Italy).
He says that the person who sold it initially wanted the bike this way, with only one exhaust.

I've seen the bike myself for real (not in pictures) and it looks very well, sounds well.

My only concearn is with the missing pipe.
From what I've seen, it seems that it's missing the left exhaust with the small pipe which goes into the splinter (1 into 2).

Is this setup affecting performance/the engine?
If I buy it,I will definitely want to get the back into the original shape with dual exhausts (due to esthetics & tech reasons).
I can't say 100% if that spot has been welded (where the left exhaust should be), I've seen some sort of black rubber end on it.

What solution do you suggest? As I don't think I'll be able to find another similar Leo Vince to fit on the bike (or an affordable one).
And I'm also not very fond of mounting stock dual exhausts.

Regards

I ran my bike for 41 000 km with a D&D and a stocker, as much sound and good performance since most of it goes out the low restriction one

weirdo! lol!

most peeps say better low and mid range torque with a single, less top end... but it's all relative... ie. about 10% or less seat of the pants difference...

Easier to buy a bike with a twin system and save yourself the trouble of trying to fix this one.
