Top triple tree.... what years were they different?
 

i recently bought an entire Lockset for $90 (son of a bitch!!). he said it would fit all years (be sure to check with your dealer first ofcourse) but ofcourse it seems to be a later style and does not fit! now i'm considering buying a later style triple tree instead of trying to find another matching lock set. so does anybody know what year they changed to the new design and is it the same from there until 2005? will the newer style bolt right on?

Bad news. I don't know but I would think it changed when they went with the black top bridge. Just a guess.

so on this note... does anybody have either a later triple or maybe a early ingnition ?
