Timing redo - any tips?

So over 10 years ago I went to change the hydraulic lifters and followed the book. Did the first steps and rotated the engine, etc.. replaced one of the lifters. Didn't see the bit about rotating it to do the next part and when the lifter came out the chain must've come off.

Which cylinder would that be? And does anyone have any tips to getting it back in order?

@Acecool the factory service manual is a free download on here. Have you gotten it yet? And how could we know what cylinder you are questioning?

I do have the service manual from here. Because I followed the manual for the first, but missed the step to rotate the engine for replacing the second lifter.
