Temp Differential From Exhaust?
 

Just the other day I was listening to my '98 SH idling in the driveway and enjoying the deep basso profundo emanating from the Two Brothers CF cans. I put my hand over the left side tip and felt the hot gasses pulsating rhythmically against my hand. Switched to the RH side, expecting the same. WTH, its cold! This was just after a 30 minute ride. What do I have here? A jetting issue? I used Sta-bil during the winter and started it up weekly to keep the carbs clean. What could it be?? Inquiring minds gotta know..

Do you have no contact IR temp gun? or a Multi meter with a temp probe? if so, get yourself a temp at the header as it exits each head before trying to fix something as diagnosed with a calibrated hand at the end of two completely different exhaust paths Front to rear.

I have felt the same thing,, thinking I had a dead cylinder, but with no change in runnability, total power.. i checked temps at the head.... both the same, checked plugs, both the same, checked ignition signal, both present.

That's normal you don't get the full amount out the right side until you get to higher revs. There's a restrictor plate in the end of the header pipe at the Y junction just before the exhaust gases flow out the right hand side.

+1, at idle (when the exhaust pressure is relatively low) both pipes flow out of the left side. When pressure builds it evens up. Do what Marquez said and check your headers, likely they'll both be the same temp.
