STOCK SHOCK

Is there a right way to install the shock, i.e. - what should be facing front and what side should the adjustment screw be on? I notice the adjustment screw with soft & hard arrow...what side should that be on.
There is a screw on the other side also - what does that control?
Thanks.

The shock should be installed so that the adjustment screw is on the right side, i.e. the throttle side, of the bike. You can check the orientation of the bracket that the top of the shock fits into by going to the parts diagrams on www.ronayersmotorcycles.com. The service manual with similar information can be found in the Knowledge Base section. Your owner's manual should show the position of the adjustment screw also.

OK Thanks.
I have it right.
Any idea what that screw is on the left side bottom?

It does nothing and I don't even think it turns, but there is only the rebound adjuster.

Thanks for that info.
