spark plug socket
 

anyone have some guidance on where to get an 18mm spark plug socket that will fit down inside the superhawk valve cover and head. all of the ones that i have tried will not physically fit in the space. i think the walls of the socket are too thick and so not allow it slide down as deep as it needs to go.

please anyone offer up some help with this. i am anxious to get her running again!

I've had the same problem finding one, it's a pain but I just ended up having to use the one that comes in the honda tool kit. I'd live to get a new one so if anybody else knows one thin enough please post.

Look for a toolkit on ebay. Or you can just order the specific item you need from www.ronayers.com

yeah - i found it in my tool kit. i guess that i am so absent minded that i forgot using it to remove the spark plugs in my teardown.

just finished the rebuild and fired her up! took her down the street for a test run (minus fairings) - she runs like a dream!
