Spark plug cap mod question
Does anyone know detailed info about modify-ing the spark plug cap.
I read somewhere, that if you remove a internal piece(resistor-?) of the plug cap, it will promote a stronger spark. I am only curious. I don't want to modify something if there isn't a proven result. Or do you think this is a bogus mod? (similar to the airbox snorkle mod). |
Don't bother.

Re: Spark plug cap mod question
I haven't done this....but....."heard" that the resistor is there to avoid car radios from picking up static caused by your ignition.
Could be off on this..... Mike |

That is a big part of the reason it's there.
