She is not running right after the accident, loosing rear cylinder
 

I am not afraid to ask, I need help. A little back round, I low sided and hit a parked car at about 30 mph. tail did not get a scratch. Clutch cover damaged and so was the clutch basket. While installing basket was careful to line up hole in the 2 gears- tab of outer gear was against small springs. I used the ign pulse coil that came w/ the used cover. New fuel. After all put back together ran like shit, hard to start rotten throttle response. Found rear cyl exh pipe cold. Removed plug, motored over to remove fuel/ oil, installed old servicable plug ran great for 5 minutes same as before accident then lost the rear cyl. removed plug installed another serv plug ran great for another 5 min, then dropped. Installed timing light to rear plug. it fires but seems broken. opened plug on stator cover and saw the "F" is that correct shouldn't I see "r"? Also air was puffing out of hole is that norm? I checked resistance at 2p connector for rear coil, a couple of ohms and was not shorted to ground. I checked connections at converter and icm looked good. Checked ohms at converter plug for t/p sensor, 600 at idle and increased as twisted throttle back to 600 where I set it a year ago. If the used ign pulse coil was bad I would think it would affect both cyl. I know it is not a matter of timing as when it does run good it is perfect. Also temp has nothing to do w/ it. I am steering toward a faulty icm but I don't want to shotgun it w/ parts. Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks. Also have manual cct's aft chain looked tight when I had the clutch cover off.

Thanks man you where right on the money. I had not removed the tank, I had some friends help me as I was still in pretty bad shape. I connected the small vac line to the bottom of the petcock. I reinstalled it to the left side port and she is singing. I don't know why it was the rear cyl that was dropping off? Sure seemed like an ignition miss to me, we learn something every day, Thanks again.:)

It's been just over 4 months, I just started walking 2 weeks ago unassisted. I went off the road, low sided in gravel and hit a parked car then I hit my gas tank with my knee. I shattered my upper tibia, I will never be 100% but should get close with p/t and time. I will never take my health for granted again. I'm planing on going back to work mid May to turn wrenches for Delta Airlines. It felt awesome yesterday just to take her around the block, I'll still ride hard just a little smarter, the human body is more fragile than you think, be safe out there. Wow sorry to hear it man. I wouldn't strive to ride "hard". I will bet you will appreciate even moderate riding after the layoff. After only 4 days off I am having a blast the first minute just rolling up the street.

You should get on a track if you want speed. The street is way to dangerous to push a superbike.

OMG... there but for the grace of God go I. The reason I inquired was because I lowsided last Thanksgiving Day at low speed.

Similar conditions, left turn, gravel etc. But was extraordinarily fortunate to only suffer an AC separation in my left shoulder. I was ATTGAT attired, but mainly I was just lucky for only sliding into mud and leaves.

Absolutly street is no place to ride hard
 

We go up to Jennings often, a track in North Fla. After being there ridding the street is just for transportation. I was doing what we call "north runs" where we head north of Tampa to the country roads and tear it up but I just won't do those anymore just too risky, I have seen people in wheelchairs my whole life but to actually spend a few months in one makes one realize how lucky we are to have a fully functional body. Sorry for getting off topic here.

Ewww!!! Those bolts look so disgusting! I would need to be drunk out of my mind before having them removed!!!

I remember watching the doctor remove the metal wiring from my fathers chest after his bypass surgery....
