Replacement Carb Diaphragm?

My carb slide diaphragms are getting cracks in them and I want to replace them, but they appear to come only as an integrated unit with the actual slide. OEM price is like $120 and I found them for $89 EACH, but that's insane. I suppose I could buy another full carb for less than $188 (but then I still wouldn't have new rubber.)

I read the post saying there is no rebuild kit. Does anyone have any other suggestions for replacing the rubber bits on my 14 year old pal without spending more than my bike is worth?

Thanks

I might be able to help you out if you can find no other alternative I am about to take two sets of carbs apart after Labor day. I do not know what shape they are in so I would not put all your eggs in my basket as mine will come first and I dont know what anyone has done to them but I have 3 sets total as one set is on my bike right now.

I dont have any good ideas but those parts have to be used in some other application I would hope.

Be aware that carb cleaner spray destroys that rubber quickly. I have seen guys trash a new set by carb cleaning them. Ethanol doesnt do it any favors either.

If the slides show a lot of wear replacing them too may not be such a waste of money.
