I used a RR from an R1 for the upgrade, can't remember the year, I picked it up used but the new price is only about $65 anyway. The R1 unit is a nice solid unit with good cooling fins.
Here's a good site covering the step-by-step... http://www.vlc.com.au/~justin/about/...g_replace.html |
Has anyone has trouble with the later Honda design? My '02 has decent size cooling fins compared to the older version I have seen pictures on this site of. Just wondering if I should be looking for a replacement unit while browsing ebay...
Thanks Rick B 02 SH |
