Rear Turn Signals as running lights

I did a google search on the web looking for an adapter that will keep my rear turn signals on as running lights and also allow them to function as normal turn signals. I have installed these on Honda sport bikes in the past (don't remember the manufacturer) and thought that they were quite common but now all I'm coming up with is applications for Harleys, Metric Cruisers and Dual Sport bikes, seemingly nothing for sport bikes. Searching the SH Forum didn't get me any results as well. Can anyone offer suggestions?

I had my rear turn signals wired like this on a bike years ago. My riding buddy complained that my rear turn signals were not as noticeable this way, so I unwired them and haven't done it since.

The only legal running light on the rear of a vehicle is red. For this reason I added some leds to the lens of my turn signals to widen the rear signature of the bike. Hard to see in this sunlit vid but really visible at night.

I think he was looking for a "how to".

Here's a place I just found online that sells a VTR1000F specific device that isn't just for running lights, it has all kinds of options for various flashing/brakes, etc. Kinda more than I wanted and it's not cheap at $129.

Woof. Those are some pricey flashers. $80 to blink tail lights? Really? I have an adjustable flasher that does like 10 strobe patterns that was $15 on the bay.

This is the stuff that should be marketed to genius Harley or Ducati riders who are more interested in telling their buddies how much they spent.

Yeah, I hear ya, it's not what I'm looking for....

Exactly what I thought when I read this post. You cannot legally run the rear turn signals constantly "on" unless you convert them to red.
