Rear axle spools
 

Does anyone here use axle spools the ones that just slip into axle holes while using rear stand to clean chain.

I just slide a 5/16" steel rod about 24" long thru the hollow axle.

If this works for you too, mark the ends with a bright color so you don't forget to take it out when you're done.

I tried the rod didn't work my stand to short to lift tire off ground.
