Radiator

My friend has a 1991 Honda CBR600 F2... And The radiator fan just quit working one day.. Checked the fuses and they were good. And i guess he is just going to order a new motor for the fan.. Kinda expensive though.. So i was wondering if anyone has ran into this problem before.. Maybe there is another alternative before he orders that motor... Sorry to bring a CBR to the website.. :(

Tell him to check the temp sensor that turns on the fan first. Not sure where it is on an f2.

Re: Radiator

Also check the fan motor ground, if it's corroded or loose that will stop it as well.
Don't trust a visual check of the fuse either, replace it instead.
I've spent way too much time troubleshooting electrical problems due to failed fuses that look ok and check ok on an ohm meter but can't carry a load.
