Question about a front end whobble
 

So i have a question about a front end wobble on my 2003 superhawk all stock
I took my motorcycle to my mechanic and had them do a front end service well doing my fork seals well which consisted of changed out bearings and checking the whole front end over and changeing out any thing that was worn

They did i get the motorcycle back onlt to get a wobble at high speeds starting at about 90 and up now this motorcycle had no wobble untill this work been done. Whats even odder is that i can realise the handle bars i know not smart but it then rides true. Now my mechanic said my front rim is bent.

I am at a lose on this why would i have a wobble at high speeds when there was no wobble before the work was done ?

I had a similar issue with a TRX 850 Yamaha once.

Turned out to be the tyre so I can understand that it may be the wheel.

Question is though, how did it suddenly become bent?

I asked that and a fallow up question why was this not noticed when they chanced my front tyer out. There response was we where not looking at it and for the rem being bent was maybe a pot hole or a curb now i have not hit any pot holes i can remember something like that would jar the crap out of me and i know i did not hit a curb i do how ever live on a dirt road but agine i am riding in frist maybe 2 gear on the dirt road

It's pretty easy to check out the rim runout, at least visually. Put the front up and spin the wheel. If you can detect a bent rim visually, it could be enough to cause a wobble. If you need a runout dial indicator to detect it, that's probably not the cause. You might want to check the tension on the stem bearings. Too loose or too tight can cause wobbles as well. I've know people to install new bearings and outer races without changing the inner races. Did they put stock (ball) or aftermarket tapered rollers in?

Nothing after market as far as i know . The motorcycle is all stock menus radiators and front brake reservoir
