Popping sound on decel

Hey ppl, :)

I recently installed a set of devil high mounts but now I getting alot of popping sound coming from them during decel. I have read through many posts and they indicate that its the PAIR valve causing it.

I have a fairly good understanding of how it works now, but my question is how come it only happens during decel when the engine is around 4k rpm and under? I know the PAIR valve opens when the vacuum is @ its greatest (on decel), how come it doesn't make the popping sound when im doing about 80+ KM/h, above 4k rpm and then close the throttle?

Thanks,

Eddie

probably not a good seal where the mid pipes clamp to the headers. I had to trim my Two Brothers right side mid pipe about 1/2" back and re-slot it so the clamp would squeeze the gasket and make a good seal. I also used new gaskets at the header and left the old gaskets in my stock mufflers.

Perhaps your jetting is off.
