From what you posted I'm understanding that the tail light has integrated turns. Are the turn bulbs LED? If so, that is the source of the rapid blink. You'll need a new flasher relay designed for low resistance. A ~$12-15 part.

xeris is talking about one of these:

True about the bilnking but the rear signals were never running lights. Rear constant lights are red. Only signals are orange.

This too will solve the problem. Just straight from the country of origin.

Or just go down to the auto parts store and get one there.

I bought an inexpensive integrated blinker as well, came with two resistor blocks (I suppose to offset the blink rate). Not sure about the wiring either, haha.

Edit: Figured it out, no big deal..

I thought the VTR had a 3 wire relay?

Installed the LED integrated tail light from ebay. Great idea someone suggested using one (of the two), bulb connectors to power the brake light, and then just connecting the other two wires to each tail light wire, and not using the ground, as it's already grounded. Great suggestion, works perfect.

Here is a foto of which color wires on the 3 prong bulb, go to which wires on the LED integrated tail light, in case anyone hasn't done this mod.https://cimg3.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.sup...1f581447ad.jpg

After testing it, I cut off the 3 prong, and soldered the wires to the tail light wires, and shrink wrapped 'em.

Rear blinker wiring

So, if I am understanding this post, there are no running lights in the rear blinkers?
The wires that I have are Green, Orange, Light Blue.
Orange for the left blinker
Light Blue for the right blinker
And the Green is common for both right and left.
That is what my 1998 Honda Super hawk is wired?
Does this sound right?

Correct, rear turns are not 3 wire "running" lights. The service manual is a free download in the knowledge base section. It has a wiring diagram.
