PAIR SYSTEM
Last night I put on my yosh slip on's. I already did the rejetting and the bike has been running well.
That damn popping on decel is going to drive me crazy. How can I make it stop. I recall reading that the plates are no longer made to block off the approporate holes Help |
Re: PAIR SYSTEM
A very easy way is to pull the hoses off the inlet pipes on the valve covers and stick an appropriate sized rubber cork in the pipe and then slip the hose back on. Done.

Re: PAIR SYSTEM
Okay so you said you put them on and already did the jet kit. I am wondering if it is mandatory to jet with that pipe set up. I am thinking of getting them and do not want to jet. Second what is the PAIR system?
Sorry for my ignorance  d hope that cork thing worked out for ya |
Re: PAIR SYSTEM
Pulsating Air Injection R..??
Its a pollution system of hoses that go from your valve covers to your air box. When I pulled mine off and plugged the holes by bike stopped acting up completely. Occassionally there is a pop on deceleration which I have come to adore. Reminds me of my cammed up 440 SIX PACK Challenger. |
It adds filtered air to the exhaust system to light off any unburned gasses. The popping you hear is combustion in the exhaust pipe.
