Number of clutch plates?
 

Does anyone know the number of fiber discs in the VTR clutch? I want to freshen up my clutch (and add Hyperplates) when I get the engine rebuilt. I called the dealer today to order the fiber plates and, wehn asked how many there were, he said the diagram showed 10!!!!!!! AS the RC51 has six I think, I cannot fathom the VTR having 10. So, who knows how many it does have?

Yeah it actually does have 10. I double checked the spare EBC clutch plate set I have and there are 10 fiber discs in the box. And it's been awhile but that's what I remember when I last changed one.

Here just to be sure...also lists 10 friction plates. I'd hate to give you the wrong info.

RC51 has 7.

I checked pg. 9-0 of the service manual. It's definitely 10.
