Is this normal?

(Definitely not the vacuum tube from the rear carb.). This hose was tucked up in the frame with no cap. On the other end of the tee a hose fished toward the ground for the drain. The final hose made its way back to the tank where it would connect. Why would this line have a tee? Is that normal? All the PAIR components were removed by PO. |
If the tee is not necessary, I want to steal it for the carb sync mod for the rear vacuum tube |

You found it is connected to the port on bottom of tank that drains the fuel filler area? And it goes to a T? So where do the two other sides of the T lead too? I think you said one to the ground, ok where is the other one going? Im just not remembering a T in the drain tube.. Vacuum line yes, but not drain or tank breather tube... Was this a California bike perhaps? They have an evaporate charcoal canister system for venting the fuel tank that is a collossel mess of hoses |
