No Start?
Well, i just went out to start my adventure into replacing the cct and i started trying to get her into 6th gear, but she wouldn't go. So i was going to turn over the engine, but no start. I haven't ridden her for 3 months due to the tensioner. I get lights but nothing when i click the starter. The battery is almost new and has 12.48 v right now. The kill switch is not on, but it is acting like she is in gear without the clutch in or the kill switch is on. What ideas do you guys have?
Thanks! |
Charge the battery.

redman wins the prize, but you still should charge the battery.

Yeah, it started up with no problem. Battery is very good. My trickle charger is at a friends, he is charging his pocket bike up. :) Thanks again. I feel very silly.

Don't feel bad, when i got my SuperHawk (used) i started her up and everytime i put her in gear she died. Up until that day i had always had older bikes. I was not knowledgeable on the stand safety switch. I first thought something was wrong with the bike as it was used until i figured out my stupidity.
What i hate is my girl friend SV650S requires you to pull in the clutch even when in neutral and the stand is up. Double safety i guess |
