Low RPM stutter

Hi guys..

My bike has this very strange bucking/low rpm choking that I am experiencing.

Example... I'm slowly cruising at about 2k down the street in 2nd gear, you will hear a "clunk" and the front end will slightly dive in and it is kind of a bucking sensation. I equate it to having a really fuel happy big block v8, where the large camshafts cause a chunky low speed driving.

Is this a normal symptom? Bike is quick, can do a power wheelie if needed, so I know its running okay. It does definitely need an oil change, though.

Well first off you need to remember that this engine is a 4 valve dual overhead cam set up with a rev limit of a touch over 10K RPM.

So if you are riding around only spinning 2K you are lugging the engine.
Keep the rev's above 3K or you are putting unnecessary loads on the engine or yes it is bad for the engine to run it in the conditions you have listed.

Also it does sound like you are a little lean on the bottom end. ;)
