Losing of power during Track days

Hi guys,
I am running a 97 Firestrom with 36,000km at the odometer.
This bikes has been running fine for my monthly track days.

This morning, as usual I rev my bike till 8500rpm at track.
After 8 laps, a downshift and I lost power and it sound louder than usual and very weak, I cannot rev my bike till 4000rpm.

Engine manage to idling as usual, and at neutral, I can rev the engine to 7000rpm easily, the moment I engaged into gear and move off, it will be jerky and sound like coughing at the exhaust.

I have just changed 2 sparkplugs, it is still the same.
What else can it be?

Thank you
Stan

if it idles fine, but under load,it bogs down.i would check your petcock diaphragm, chances are it is ripped, this can cause loss of power.
and check fuel lines and diaphragm in the carbs.
wouldnt hurt to check clearance in the heads, valves and such.
check oil for water and vice versa.

Do you have manual cam chain tensioners?

I am using the auto one.
Just realised that I closed throttle at 8500rpm and lose power of my bike, and i can hear rattling noise.

Thks for the reply, mechanics found water in my carb, after draining it out.
My bike is running fine.
