How much oil? What are the service intervals? 98 Hawk
 

I just bought a 98 hawk and it didnt come with the users manual. How much oil do you put in with and without the filter change? What are the other service intervals? Any other information I should know?

3.7litres w/o filter, 3.9litres w filter, 4.5litres after disassembly. Manual says oil and filter every 8000 miles but I do every 3000 miles.

that's 4.2 U.S. quarts. I run 2000 or so on Honda non-synthetic oil. gods only know how long you can go on synthetic.
valve adjustments recommended at 16,000 miles.
what's everybody's thoughts on that? I've only got 4700 on mine.

With only 4700m I wouldn't worry about it, I did mine at 13K and everything was in spec, only one shim size off the median of the range so I changed mine one size on 6 out of 8 while I had it apart.
