Help with Idle speed

I know I have seen this somewhere on here, but I can't find it now....
What should the RPM's be at idle?? Mine runs right at 1000 at idle....sounds like it should be higher....

TIA....

1200 rpms. The knob is on the right hand side below the side fairing and inside the frame, you can see it if you peek in there.

Cool, thanks for the info, and the location of the adjustment, that would have been my next newbie question   I thought it was supposed to be higher than 1000....

Spec is 1100-1200. I run mine at 1300 and find it eliminates the clunk-die problem.

Yeah, I did see another post this morning that suggest setting it at 1300....Any reason you wouldn't do that??

I had mine set at 1300 and it was to noisy at traffic lights to talk with my buddies. But I don't know if that is a reason you wouldn't want to do it??

I run mine at 1000 without any problems. I think rought idle conditions have more to with out-of-sync carbs than anything else. Other out of tune issues can also be factors too.
