I think it is the stock VFR bars that are a close approximation to the Heli's. Early 90's thru the 97's - I think.

FYI: All 90-01 VFR bars are 41mm.

2005 VFR?

All VTR (Superhawks) are 41mm. VFRs might have varied over the years, I don't know.

The helibars are taller and further back that the 2001-2005 oem bars.

Well in my case I got the 3.5" rise and got the bars pretty close to stock. I got mine to go with my fork swap. Had I gone with that kind of rise on the stock forks I'd have ended up with a very different riding position.
